"You have to milk the cow quite a lot, and get plenty of milk to get a little cheese." Henri Cartier-Bresson from The Decisive Moment.
I just wonder how my kid would feel later in life about being dressed up and photographed as Hitler. That would be my main concern. I understand she was trying to protray a thing about evil. I don't quite get how that was accomplished dressing a cute little babe. I don't get it. Maybe that is my problem. Either way..I find it in poor taste. IMO.

hmm, If she's working on the theory that all evil people started as cute little babies then I get it. But I doubt she needed to dress her baby like this. I am a little appalled that one would use innocent babies as part of a political agenda regardless of the motive.
Of course I also hate Anne Geddes stuff too.

A painter takes their vision and makes it a reality. A photographer takes reality and makes it their vision.
I'm with you. I see nothing here except the express intent of creating something with shock value...and it's working obviously.

It's kind of like performance art in a way. I dunno there is nothing about the photography that stands out. "I put my baby in costumes to make her look like tyrants. Look at me!" Meh.
Should have said artist with no talent seeks fame. I neither appalled nor find them of any interest. It is not like she is white supremacist who indoctrinates her kids into believing the nonsense, she is just an idiot who is looking for fame at any price. People like her are a dime a dozen, if people ignore her she may just go away or she may come up with another costume set.
“I take photographs with love, so I try to make them art objects. But I make them for myself first and foremost - that is important.” Jacques-Henri Lartigue
"All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing." Edmund Burke"Vive L'Acadie, Liberté, égalité, fraternité, ou la mort!"
I agree with AcadieLibre... where's the artistry in these photos. ok so you dressed up your infant as a bunch of megalomaniacs on a white backdrop. not much thought into the photos except for the detailed costumes. but I guess we're discussing her shots, which in the end is what she probably wanted, but really doesn't deserve.
Someone with:
A. Too much time on their hands.
B. Issues with desperately trying to seek attention/press.
C. Not a lot of talent/creativity in photography....IMO.
D. out any idea that this kind of action will now result in their kid will be getting picked on by other kids when said child enters school.
E. All of the above.
I'm with AL.....
Btw...I had a vision of someone wanting to see shots of Jane when she was baby and the mum pulls out the baby pictures of these!
