    Default Any Warm Weather outings?

Well today I promised my wife I would hang around home, have been out and on the go 4 days running for good outings. I just feel its my duty to pay homage to the sun gods lol. Wednesday and Thursday hung around the city and did a ton of walking and shooting. Friday I did some more shooting in the city, then I met my wife and we went for a nice long drive and photo shoot, think we were out driving for around 7 hours.

Yesterday was just gorgeous, I left the house around 9 am and got home around midnight. I shoot almost 10 gigs worth of photos and I must say has been my best outing since I gone to DSLR, almost every photo came out good, well good in the sense they were clear, good colour and now just have to sort through them and see which ones are the cream of the crop. I drove around 600 KM in total, but if I could do nothing but drive and take photos the rest of my life I would be in paradise lol.

Also I need to get rested for tomorrow if they TTC strike happens here it is going to be a good photo opportunity I think, so I may walk downtown and see if I can get any good shots off. It is 2 1/2 hours walk to the west side of the downtown core from my house and I walk it all the time in the warm weather. So anyone else been paying homage to the sun gods?

Well Saturday was out for a total of 15 hours, or 231 songs including ones that I skipped. I started from Toronto and made my way to Turkey Point. From their I went to a bunch of other places including Port Dover, Port Colborne, Welland, Hamilton and a whole host of other stops. I drove about 600 K's and walked for several hours. A fabulous day, trying to keep my wandering self at home today going to BBQ. Anyway here is a very small sample from Saturdays fabulous day out and about.

Thats a nice calm shot... nothing beats a nice day, full tank of gas.... and a few gig of memory stix...

I had a lot of work to do around the house (I have an infant son)

but I did manage to sneak out to the falls.... these shots below aren't very sharp.... but there were handheld at 1/3 second...

I also set my alarm for 3:30 yesterday morning to shoot the full moon but it was too cloudy.... maybe tonight...

Nice shots, yes I remember having an infant around the house and I loved it and the youngest is now 10 and now I am enjoying some freedom lol. And it is a new truck also so was like the perfect run yesterday. I have a ton of photos, had a quick look at them but just so many and picking out the ones I figure are the better ones feels tiring lol. I go through them over time and eventually the ones that stand out just do for whatever reason.

    PS: Where are those Falls?

I know what you mean about going through them all....

especially since your are raw shooter.... unless you only end up post processing a few dozen...

these falls are two hours north of you (i think you mentioned living in GTA) in Bracebridge... there is a series of more than 20 falls....

btw... i saw no ttc strike ... so i guess no city in distress photo's for you....haha..
