I received two beautiful prints from Kat. I plan to frame the landscape for my office, to gaze at when I'm stressed and need to find that serenity place. The other flower shot will go in our "library/study" when I finish developing it.

    Perfect! Thanks Kat!

I couldn't find an easy way to get Kat's photos into this post but here are the links:
Cochenour morning on Flickr - Photo Sharing!
Dreams on Flickr - Photo Sharing!

And P.S. - In going to look for the photos to post here, I surfed Kat's Flickriver gallery and WOW, there's a pile of incredible images there. Beautifully composed, well exposed, perfectly post processed. She's obviously a very talented photographer, and once again it goes to show how there's so much more to our members than what you might see posted here in this forum (critiques, show your photo). It's a good exercise to explore those siggy links!

I didn't know I'd get three. I'll have to find a nice spot for these and some nice frames.

Cool. I was wondering just yesterday whether they arrived or not.
Yep, I couldn't decide, so I printed all 3 to see which ones looked best printed...and still couldn't decide. Given the pile of printed unframed photos I have at home waiting to be framed, I did myself a favour be sending them to you Some more forethought in the bridge ones and they would have made a better set.

I received three photos from Iguanasan on Friday. Thank you Iggy. They were printed on that metallic sort of paper which made for a subtle "West Dover Sunrise" And complemented the "Orton" effect of "A Walk In The Park" quite well. The third photo was one of his lovely "Halifax Town Clock."

As a bonus I got a "Moo" card! Good idea! I am sending one back. See separate thread about that as well.

"West Dover Sunrise" is already hung in my bedroom. (The only room with wall space left and which also displays my two Janet Mitchell sketches which I prize. THank you so much, Iggy!

You're welcome! Glad you liked them. I was a little unsure about the metalic printing process done by a local company, Carsand-Mosher, but I felt the style worked well with those images.

The metallic paper is very cool, Iggy! I especially like it with the Dover Sunrise photo.
