    Default Decent photography magazine?

Looking to pick up a magazine subscription for a friend who is an aspiring amateur photographer. She is in photography school, and seems to have some decent knowledge, but would like to get her a subscription to a decent magazine with tips/tricks/columns, etc

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance

Search the U.K. magazines. Lots of good stuff there, lots of tips and tricks and lessons.
My favorite one is Digital SLR Photography, and you can subscribe to it from North America easily. She will not be disappointed for sure.
