Did any of our many Calgary area peeps go to this? If so, what were some of the highlights? What did I miss? Was there any hot sales or promotions on mainstream gear going on? Do tell!

My wallet is drained, I picked up a Wacom tablet. I did score out of the bargain bin a ColorVision Print FX, basically a device for calibrating my own printer profile. Lots of information to digest many good speakers.

I watched the Wacom tablet demo and it was quite tempting especially with Craig's actions. I also attended the Hahnemule lecture. I was already a convert but nice to get the background and see a print come off one of those large machines. The portrait session was informative and I enjoyed the speaker. Watched the Spyder 3Pro lecture as well.

Ha ha! sold a guy on a Lowepro sling type backpack. (You are welcome Camera Store, lol) and got myself a new tripod. That's about it. Oh yeah, met Greg and saw EJC there as well.

I had my Calgary trip cancelled last minute, so I missed out! I did, however, get to spend the entire weekend fishing, hiking, exploring back country, and snapping some shots.

Greg: which Wacom did you get? I've got a Bamboo, which is OK. Just sold a Intuos4 Large (along with a 27" iMac, and various other bits) to a customer yesterday - looks like a really nice unit!
