I was here briefly some time ago but have recently become serious about photography. If intro threads are not "the thing," will admins please delete?

I was here briefly some time ago but have recently become serious about photography. If intro threads are not "the thing," will admins please delete?

First welcome to this forum, dreamy5. If you wish to post an intro, by all means, do so, but it is not necessary. It can be helpful to have a sense of your photographic experience.

Thank you! I'm fairly new to photography, but extremely enthusiastic. I now shoot with a Rebel XTi, and have the kit lens (18-55), a 75-300 (no IS though!), a 28-105, and a 50 mm fixed 1.8.
I think my best work is nontraditional portraits, but I also shoot flowers and landscapes. I'm minimalist in my approach it seems as I like simple and uncluttered.
My technical knowledge is limited, and my "eye" is still developing. Enthusiasm I have plenty of, though.
