    I am not a firm believer in photographic rules but these I think are a decent guideline for those starting out.

    Yes these are good rules, but the one that I have seen done poorly the most is framing. Sometimes those framing techniques just distract from the photo because they don't fit. So this rule I'd use with the most caution. Now if only I could take a good photo
