I bought this book a while back and I thought I would share it with my fellow forum members from Calgary and vicinity. It makes for a great little photography guide book. It's called "Day Trips from Calgary" by Bill Corbett and it has all kinds of ideas on where to go both popular and not so much. It covers all directions E,W,N,S, out of the city, all trips within a 3 hour drive one way. I thought I would pass it on for those of you interested in ideas for photo taking and want something a little different and perhaps off the beaten path. It is like a having a little tour guide with you and gives good directions as well as interesting tidbits about the regions in our vicinity.
We did Big Hill Springs Park near Cochrane one day last fall pre-DSLR and I can hardly wait to go back there camera in hand.
I thought I would pass it on... I plan on making good use of it and my camera this summer!
