Help identifying this photographer

Hi all,

I saw an exhibit of this photographer's work awhile ago, and despite my searches can't seem to find his name. I was hoping maybe some of you could help.

His work was mostly from the 70's and 80's, and two of his more memorable photos for me were:

1. A San Francisco sidewalk in the 70's. A white couple passes by a young Asian man, with the white male giving the Asian man the finger.

2. A massive bridge of a major road dwarfs a couple of Native Americans sitting on the grass on the side.

Are their web photos of the exhibit? If you posted the photos that would surely help....off hand from that description alone, not sure.
