Croc close-up

For some reason, I have always been attracted to shooting crocodiles and aligators. This was done with a regular 50mm lens on a film camera. I was closer than anyone should be to this guy.

That is one scary looking creature. He's really staring me down and I think he's following me as I move from side to side. Very cool shot! Just curious did you also try another shot where you focused on the teeth or was getting that shot dangerous enough?

When a crocodile is partially in the water as this one is, his body is cooler and therefore faster and more dangerous, so I did not try a shot of the inside of this mouth either.
