At a FL of 10mm with an aperture of f/11 or so just about everything a few inches away from the lens should be in acceptable focus. Somebody help me here if I'm wrong, but I think you should be more concerned with the hyper-focal distance using that 10-24mm.
I corrected it, it is 17-50mm 2.8.

I said FL, but I was talking about the focal distance. I converted the app to feet.
