but I'm real proud of an icc profile I've built for a paper that was probably never intended to be used with an ink jet.

The paper is Arches Watercolor 140lb (300gsm) cold press 100% cotton fiber sold in taped blocs. Impossible to describe the texture of the paper accurately, lets just say that there is loads of texture.

I started with the closest matching profile I already had installed and worked with my ColorMunki Photo for four or five hours refining it to what I think is pure perfection. OK...I said it. It's perfect.

I can't say that its suited for every print, or everyones taste, for that matter, but when I selected a photograph that was loaded with texture and applied it to this paper the resulting print is fabulous.

    Toot-Toot.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with a little self tooting.....especially after you work hard to make something work where it wasn't originally designed to...

Congrats! I wouldn't know where to start to create an icc profile, which is why I love the red river papers company...they may available profiles for every paper they have available....

Oh, yeah! I went there looking for something better than what I already had to begin with, but there are fewer and fewer profiles available for my old Epson. Thanks, Justin.
