What screen resolutions do you use, what monitors do you use and are they calibrated.
My Macbook Pro has a different look and colour to my photos then my apple cinema display. They are both Calibrated for my printer. I run my resolutions at 1600 x 1050. My Macbook Pro is superior colour wise, my photos that I look at on the cinema display look like dark in areas people point out, on my Macbook Display image is not as dark and it is what I print from.
My big pet peeve about showing photographs online is they never look the same from one monitor to the next.
My Second Set up is a Comapq Presario Laptop with a second monitor which is an LG 17 wide screen , now when I view images on that setup because my resolution is 1024x800 the images are larger, they look different on the two monitors then on my Mac set up. All my monitors are calibrated but because different companies do their displays different it makes a huge deal when viewing photos on line. So now I look at each photo on each display so when someone makes a comment about darkness I can look at the photo on the various monitors to see what they see.
Not sure what I would do with a single monitor set up, would send me loopy, not seeing what others see and why they see it.
So what set up do the rest of you have?
