I saw this and thought some other might also enjoy these. The American Department of Defense just put these online and are using Flickr to host them. They are photos from the Korean War.

“I take photographs with love, so I try to make them art objects. But I make them for myself first and foremost - that is important.” Jacques-Henri Lartigue
"All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing." Edmund Burke"Vive L'Acadie, Liberté, égalité, fraternité, ou la mort!"
There's something about old war images that always seems to tug my interest. Every image seems to say so much.
Off topic - I used to work with a Canadian Korean War vet. Told me the Koreans would use slaves to back pack munitions up the winding mountains and his job was to snipe them. He was able to track them at night when they were drawing on their cigarettes. He would aim behind the smoke at the back pack for the greatest effect. Shocking!
