This is a discussion on AP drops freelance photographer who Photoshopped his shadow out of image within the General photography forums, part of the Photography & Fine art photography category; http://www.poynter.org/latest-news/r...-out-of-image/...
“I take photographs with love, so I try to make them art objects. But I make them for myself first and foremost - that is important.” Jacques-Henri Lartigue
"All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing." Edmund Burke"Vive L'Acadie, Liberté, égalité, fraternité, ou la mort!"
Hard pill to swallow for the photographer but what they do/don't allow is pretty clear.

I hope they offered him a Photoshop lesson in lieu of severance pay. That cloning job is terrible.

I'm glad to see that they are sticking to their guns on that stuff. The news article last month about the newspaper that removed Hillary Clinton (and another woman) from the White House briefing room shot is worrying. Starting to feel like 1984 some times.
