I think it is neat idea but not sure why I would not just focus before hand but I think this is more geared toward the consumer market. Interested in what others think of this technology.

I think it is neat idea but not sure why I would not just focus before hand but I think this is more geared toward the consumer market. Interested in what others think of this technology.

I could see a lot of potential uses for that type of device but I really can't imagine it supplanting what we are doing now. Letting the user select the focus point would take away a LOT of creative control and really ruin the artistic experience.
