Well there's this guy: Bio « Les Stroud and then there's this guy: Bear Grylls | International Speaker | Best selling Author | Everest Mountaineer and one of them is not what they seem. Bear Grylls (with his british accent), aka faker, is all flash with very little show. While Les Stroud (without the accent) is the real deal. Peter Lik (with his ozzie accent) is like the hollywood version of Bear, aka a fake. Peter has his nemesis too though, check this guy out Rodney Lough, he is the real deal - he's like the Les Stroud of fine art photography. I've been to both their galleries and seen both their work, Lough is vasty superior, but his marketing is not as good Lik. So is a $2k book hype? yep, it is. run dorothy, run!
