    Default Game: Guess the Photographer

So, I've noticed that many of my favourite Photography.ca photographers have a signature style that they have developed because of the type of photos they take, the way they process them, etc. Whether the style was developed on purpose or whether it just worked out that way I think our photography is shaped by who we are. In either event, I was curious to see how easy it would be to recognize someone's photo without the usual hints like the person's name.

Here's the challenge. The first person to guess who took the photo below gets to hunt through the archive and pick another photographer. If you took the image below you are out this round but can jump in when it's not one of yours... or you can be sneaky and guess another person to throw us off the track, hehehehehe.

    Hmm is it Michaelaw?
If it is, I'm bad at these timely things so anyone should feel free to step in, in place of me.

Ok. Round 2. Here's another one I found on the site. Can anyone guess who took it?

That's 8th Avenue SW in Calgary between 1st and 2nd St S.W. looking east. I don't recall JAS playing around with the heavy editing so I'll have to go with Casil on one of her journeys into the unknown. She's not laying down here so maybe not?? JAS works later so,.,,idono.

Bambi got it! You're up... You can go to "Advanced Search" (upper right corner of the main forum page). Then under Additional Options select 6 months or 1 year ago and older posts and search. Jump around a few pages and pick one. See what you can find.

Is this a stupid game? I thought it would be fun and I like the idea but not sure if everyone else likes it.

There's a number with watermarks so I'm not sure how to deal with that as I don't want to get into editing anyone's images unless they agree... maybe they could provide one without? Not sure. Hmm.... anyone got a better game?
