    I have noticed a fair number of kiddie shots in the thread and it reminds me of what can make a certain image special to the photographer... the subject. Although this one probably wouldn't quite make it into my top 5 all time favourite/best images, I like it because it tells a lot about me and my experience as a photographer:
    1. It's not about the gear- this was shot with a point n shoot
    2. It's about the moment- timing is everything, I like her expression.
    3. Our kids are sometimes our best available subjects/models
    4. I always like something in an image that breaks the rules...In this case, with part of her face being outside of the frame, plus the high key (blown out) lighting and colour cast, all work for me (because I'm a nut ).

    WOW Bobthetog. That buck sure has some mass to him, nice swollen neck.
    Love the droptines on that rack, sure is a beauty.
    Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!
