What do you mean by the plastic screen protector that came with the camera. Do you mean the thin plastic that usually comes on the glass whenever you buy any device. I didn't think that would stay on very long. Or do you mean a special protector. I don't recall having got one with my camera.

Yeah, they're usually a "clip on" affair. I don't have a clue where any of the ones that came with my rigs are. No matter. My experience is that they cloud up pretty quickly from use and cleaning.

Size: 16.2 KBThe Nikon comes with a moulded plastic cover which can be removed and replaced at will allowing a quick glance without removing but easy to take off and on for a better view when required. Far heftier than the covers used on for example Iphones and nothing like the thin film on new products. It has a clip top and bottom. I knocked mine off and noted the dust build up behind it and am undecided as to if it really helps against damage or is a collector for dust which is then pressed into the display? It is not flexible it is more like the see through lid of a plastic box.

I don't believe I got one with mine either, and we have the same camera I think.

Either way I don't have one on mine

Barefoot I know you are a Nikonian, but I am afraid I have to tell you Canon 7D.
