I just picked up the 50mm 1.8, yeah, pretty crappy build.... plastic instead of metal, but hey so is the xti I put it on... same, same. Anyway, I got it because I was under the impression that it would be the same as an 80mm on my crop 1.6 sensor.... still haven't got all that figured out yet, boy there is alot of stuff to know
