    Default night shoot take 2

The weather finally held up and we were able to get out for a shoot, and no trouble with the police at all!!

I have never used an off camera flash before, or a night shoot before so i think they turned out pretty well.
Shot 1 and 2 are just pictures of the spots we were gonna skate (shot 1 is actually the rider ben in mid fall)

i was using a nikon d70 syncd to an nikon SB10 on a tripod about 6' in the air.

shutter speeds were not any lower than 125 and no higher than 300, cant remember ther fstops, i am pretty sure they were around f8 - f16

I think these are very decent captures especially for a first time off camera flash session. I like the 2 shots where Ben is in mid-air over the stairs. These shots are hard to do well in the day - so they are even harder at night.

My main comment would be to try to get just a bit closer, just a bit.

thank you marko! I hope you dont mind but i use your comments to gauge my progression lol so far so good!

i was thinking for the first shot, when we go back there to put the flash on the inside of the railing to cast a shadow on the street of the railing and such. perhaps keep the flash high on the tripod and angled down slightly? I love the contrast at night
