    Welcome to the forum.

You must spend a LOT of time in the bath to have that many rubber duckies huh?

Interesting photo to offer critique on.

I think the main thing I would have done differently is take this from a much more interesting angle. Probably something very low down, shooting through the crowd of ducks perhaps. In this way you could have faced the ducks the way the harsh sunlight would have been more appealing perhaps also.

In this particular shot though it appears as though the exposure a bit a over but really it's such a difficult shot due to that bright sun creating a high dynamic range. Shooting these in the shade might have been a better option.

First off, welcome to the forum! You are pretty brave to jump right in with a critique on your first post. I think Mad Aussie summed it up for you though. To make an image interesting you generally have to try and look at the world from a different angle. This angle is the same angle you see every day and so it doesn't hold a lot of interest. I recommend you go back and try again if you still have all your duckies. You could have a lot of fun with these. Line 'em up in a row like soldiers or in a straight line all heading in one direction and get in close to the first one. All kinds of possibilities

    Cheers!
