    I quite like the composition here, good eye

    My biggest complaint....the dead sky. It's killing this shot (and a few others). Had the sky been bluer it would have played nicely against the buildings.

    If you cannot afford a great polarizer, but a cheap one imo....you'll be happy you did.

    To my eye there also seems to be a magenta colour cast and the shot could use additional contrast.

    Ha! a blue sky in Vancouver Marko...Surely you jest

    I believe lovin was shooting into cloud here so he's blowing out the sky to expose the buildings and with the four thirds sensor you don't want to ramp the ISO too much lest you introduce too much noise. My call here would have been to shoot RAW at 100 ISO, get a reading for the sky and a reading for the darkest area of the buildings and choose the middle ground of those readings for the exposure. RAW at 100 ISO with the Oly sensor should have allowed for safe noiseless manipulation in a RAW editor. That's my 2c anyhow
