I like this. Could we all make it a habit to give the exif data when we upload. People like me could learn a lot.
This is a very good attempt and most of the elements (composition, no distractions, exposure, contrast) are working well.
This is a very hard shot to do well, but i think the fly should be much sharper OR much blurrier. If the fly is much blurrier then part of the flower's center should be tack sharp. Right now, neither the fly nor the flower's center is tack sharp and they are the focal point of the image.
Can you tell me the exif data including lens choice and/or macro/closeup apparatus?
and tirediron - what program do you use to SEE the exif data? I can see it in photoshop but it's a hassle to open an image in PS just to see exif data.
I am downloading a firefox add-on as we speak. Is this what you use?

That is an awesome shot but I do agree that the fly needs to be sharper.
