I want to go there!! BC is one of the most amazing places in the world in my opinion
me too Stroke. I love the way the path meanders drawing the eye into the photo and down the path. there's so many shades of green and I love the moss. I wonder though if it could be improved by moving 3 feet to the right.
Feel free to make comments on any of my shots

I like it...reminds me of great times camping up there at Green Point Campground. I like the way my eye follows the meandering path into the woods wondering what cool view is lurking around the bend.

Bambi and Casil. This is a beautiful part of the West Coast. Unfortunately it rains a lot so many of my shots were taken under an umbrella. Casil, I think I saw a photo of yours in Photo News...it was an amazing shot so congrats if it is yours!
Oh, Ucluelet and Tofino are amazing !!!
I'll post some photos did by me on Tofino Long Beach

I think Bambi has the right idea. Seems like the moss and the path both want to be the focal point, so neither of them is, and you're left without one. I did a quick crop to see if that made a difference. This isn't the definitive answer/crop by any means, but I hope it's a starting point for trying for a different balance of elements.
Thanks Saltair..it was mine. I am originally from Victoria so I know what you mean about the rain....I get back to the Island at least a couple of times a year to visit the family.
Every time we went camping in Tofino though we managed to avoid the rain...one year we went was a couple weeks prior to them running out of water...I remember the news saying that they had to cancel a bunch of weddings at the higher end hotels as it was that critical.
FWIW...I like the original uncropped version as posted by the OP.
