    Default Focus

Ok, I decided to work on my focus, we have 2 finches and I figured they would be my best test subject...this picture is completely "raw" nothing has been done to it. It's just a practice picture. I focused on the white finch. My settings were: f2.8 and 1/125, flash was on. This is completely zoomed out (my camera wouldn't focus zoomed in). How do you think i did? I think the beak is a little soft... (I feel like a little kid , but this is new to me.)

Ok, I tried the focus exercise again with another subject...meet: Bear. I set my focus to manual and focused in the nose. Like I said these are just practice shots for focus.

I always try to encourage members to upload photographs directly. That way they are always there for others to learn from them long after the member has gained some knowledge...it's good karma!

    Thx
