Well I think I flattened this cold by applying 12oz of rum and a Neo-Citran night thingy...Probably slept too close to the edge but I'm back and the cold is crouched in the corner whimpering. So...How will the D700 perform in DX Mode where it's reduced to a five MP camera glued to my worst rat lens 24-120mm?
I thought it didn't do too bad. A tad softer than full frame but certainly usable

Thanks Bambi....It was an old Ukrainian Bulba years ago that told me the rum method and it's not failed to this day but I will try your method next time

Bet I don't get the same Buzzz though

throw some rum in it then
