    I like this shot much better than the last one. It has a clear focal point and it's nicely lit.

    To make it even better, you'd need to get rid of distractions and guide the viewer's eye a bit more.

    Here are some things I might consider
    - Darkening the sky a bit more or cropping it out altogether
    - getting a bit more detail from the shadow areas and water.
    - darkening or cloning out the bright dried leaf at the bottom center right.
