Photography is more than just taking a picture and freezing the action, or leaving the shutter open. It is more than orchestrating the image with the stroke of a brush. Nice! I agree though, getting rid of the stray grass makes a much better shot. Nicely done.

Actually I like foreground stuff very much, even grass, IF it looks like it was meant to be there so it usually has to be a lot of it, or a large something. In this case I think you did the right thing.
The 2nd shot also focused on the closer headlight which works better for me too
Hmm, I'm not sure which shot is better. They are both very interesting. It might be useful to see how it looks with the blade of grass in focus as well.
Was this taken with a 50mm?
