you definitely captured the fun! Looking at it made me smile.
Did you remove these people from a background? I can see some stuff around the woman's hand and the girl's arm. I think that this would make a nice portrait but it's too bad that the woman's fingers and the pink girl's hand are cut off.

Hi there thank you so much for the kind constructive comments.
No i shot this on a white background using 4 studio lights.
2 lights to over expose the background and one key and one fill light.
Yes i think your so right about the crop on this photo, maybe not such an aggressive crop would have served this a lot better.
Thank you again for the great constructive comments.

I can see what Bambi sees. Not to sure what it is. You can see it clearly between the mom's hand and the blow up toy and the girl standing up arm/leg.
Great expressions. I agree..crop is a bit tight. I was watching Americian Idol the other day and they were talking about hands and how they can make a photo..thought it was great to hear that.

Now you have that ... I say crop in tighter As close to mum's head as you dare. Make the crop look like you meant it rather than missed it
Do that and clean up the the bits you missed when 'whitening' that Bambi mentioned and I reckon you have a really nice shot.
Hi guys
thank you sooo much for the really constructive and very valid comments.
you are all totally right about this image i will have to sit down and have another go at the original RAW image and see what i can come up with.
Thank you all again, as always its very much appreciated!

I like this overall - It's a fun portrait.
I agree with all that's been said here. A tighter crop on top would be suggestion 1 and watching where the limbs are cut suggestion #2.
