Would be interested to hear some feedback on this one. Should I tweak it a bit more in GIMP? Color, contrast or crop?

I like this the way it is. I might be inclined to crop a bit more of the left hand side just to loose that area in the botton left hand corner
I'm thinking it a window blind ?
Nice subject well done.
I think this is quite interesting the way it is.
Just curious did you also take a shot where the top slat in the blind is in sharp focus as the rest goes blurry. That too would be interesting.

Hey masp. I like this photo just the way it is. Interesting take on a simple subject. Well done - jimmy

Thanks for all the kind comments.
lhosphotography: Yes, it is a window blind, though I was trying to make it look less like a blind if you know what I mean.
Marko: I tried to do that, but the AF on my little camera is terrible and the lens is rather soft too. So I figured I might as well just blur it all and reduce the noise as well. However, I'll give it another shot once I get my DSLR.
I like this shot, great take on a window blind, I would play with the aperture, and see if more blur gives it something?
I always love to see everyday objects like these blinds turned into such an interesting image!
