Hmmm - I see noise in the rocks and water here. I think this one has a greater potential with a bit more PP....IF you can get a handle on the noise. I also see a magenta cast in the water....actually - I think I'd let this one go...I'm seeing too much noise.
Woops - I mean I see noise in the sand not so much in the water.

yeah I see the magenta cast too ! Funny I didn't see on my home comp but it is there on my work comp. I didn't think it was noisy though- I thought it was the bubbles of the surf. Hmm, let me take another kick at it.

Personally, I think you've taken much, much better photos with better compositions and exposure before. Also I don't find anything in the photo that actually holds my interest. Add to that the noise which will only get worse if you try to lighten this and I say move on or go back and re-take.

oh god, MA is in my head!!! Or I'm in your head. now my brain hurts.
but yes, I guess I put it here as I liked the idea but not so sure about the execution. And that's because it was flawed. I am curious though-what caused the pink cast? It was a bright sunny day at about 2:30 in the afternoon. I had a polarizing filter on and I've not seen that result before.

Okay I have a question....when and if you retake this shot...what would you do differently composition wise?
I know what I would do, but what would you do?
Also I have to ask did you run this thru Topaz adjust? It looks like it was run thought TA.
