I'll just tell you what I'd might try if it where my photo:
There is too much going on. I like clean photo's, so I'll start removing disstractions.
First, I'd crop it. The more is gone, the better. Just focus on the shapes or the things you like about the scene. Get rid of the rest, it isn't helping. I'd suggest focussing on the 'foam' and the shapes it has. Forget about the stone, it isn't interesting.
Second, not only is there a color cast, the color isn't very attractive in the first place. If you don't need the color, how about switching to B/W. This makes for a cleaner looking picture, and as a bonus let's you get away with just a little bit more noise without it bothering you.
And third, I'd just twiddle with contrast/brightness/clarity/levels to make sure the image isn't flat and dull.
That's what I'd try before tossing it away.
