"You have to milk the cow quite a lot, and get plenty of milk to get a little cheese." Henri Cartier-Bresson from The Decisive Moment.
Despite it being an abstract, composition still applies. With 4 large white spots, it is too balanced with no particular centre of interest to draw and hold the eye of the viewer.
Tegan

this is really interesting marko - what is it? how did you process it? i think its pretty cool - great for a desktop or something, because i just spent a couple minutes looking at it and could see lots of different things in the patterns & swirls. i do agree the 4 spots cause a balance issue - but with my untrained eye, i doubt i would've noticed it if it weren't pointed out. im really interested in what it is though!
It's quite abstract I find. Even while i was looking at it, it looked all 'Jackson Pollacky'
To tell you the truth I'm not 100% sure, but it was floating right on top of the river. I was on a bridge and shot straight into the water. Anyone know about river foam? How do these things form?what it is though!
thx marko

Good balance of visual weights, and nothing that pulls the eye out of the image too much. The textures and shapes are interesting.
I really like it, excellent abstract.
lol - thanks for the explanation Alex!
I have another couple that I'll post as well
