This is the gate to get into my neighbors field.
The magic of photography is metaphysical. What you see in the photograph isn't what you saw at the time. The real skill of photography is organized visual lying. - Terence Donovan

I don't mind the composition but do find the gate being so close to the right hand frame a bit tight. I think showing the right hand post might have been a stronger choice.
Looking at the aspect here it appears you've actaually cropped it this way in post processing. Perhaps you were hiding some distraction you saw afterwards?
The excessive blue doesn't appeal to me. I'd be removing the blue from the gate and trying to get it more natural in the sky as well. The top left corner looks very dark also so I'd be trying to level that out a bit with some dodging or blending with layers.
Again I think MA's right on the money. If you are looking for a vibrant sky, you could have a go at an HDR...
Exactly what MA said. Thanks MA!

"You have to milk the cow quite a lot, and get plenty of milk to get a little cheese." Henri Cartier-Bresson from The Decisive Moment.
It's all been said. I do like the composition.I like the leading lines and the triangle you formed with the gate and field. I would look at a different method of processing.

My mistake has been seeking new landscapes. I should have been seeking new light.
