A river surrounded by city life.

I find night shots are very difficult. Any comments?

I like the cityscape especially with the foreground interest, with the building block and what looks like a pagoda.

Maybe I'm nitpicking but it looks like it has minimally crooked horizon.

It's a little hard to see much on the relatively small version of this. Do you have a slightly bigger version of this?

What shutter speed/ ISO / Ap did you use? Because this picture seems to have what looks like High ISO noise and much of it.
I myself would try setting the ISO considerably lower (100 or 200) and going for a longer shutter. This could help this shot to get clearer and less noisy.

For this pic the ISO was 800. I didn't have my tripod with me, so that is why I decided to have a faster shutter speed and a higher ISO. Nonetheless, I agree that I would probably get better results with a slower shutter speed and lower ISO. Thanks for the tips.

As for the horizon, now that I look at it more closely, I feel it is on an angle. I didn't even notice it!

I like it. It's kind of soft and you can tell it's a bit damp and foggy -- that's a good thing! I find it to be a surprisingly calming picture, actually. I like out-of-the way parts of cities like that.

The horizon's a little out -- a tripod could help a lot, if you didn't use one. It's easily fixable. If you ever want to, a tiny aperture will make all those lights "burst" in little diffraction stars. I think the way you did it here is better for this image though.

Actually, the nicest thing from a Western perspective is that I can't read any of the advertising! That always takes away from cityscapes for me.

I like this shot as well. It's noisy as mentioned. Perhaps increasing the blacks to hide the noise a bit more might work. Just a thought.
