I like where your going with this but too dark, I would try it in B&W and play with it a bit and I think you have winner. Just the green and black seem to cancel each other out and moving to B&W might just give it the life it deserves.

That's an interesting shot! Looks like you've purposely compressed the levels/curves to create a seriously dramatic shot.

I like the composition. Looks like an old Jeep axle taking 'centre stage' there.

I do have to agree with A.L's suggestion that a conversion to B&W might be the strongest way to go here.
If not, I'd be trying to get some detail back into the that sky.

thanks guys, im going to try to do a good black and white conversion of this one, ill post it up when i have something to my liking.

And thats as much detail as I could milk out of that sky, had to pull out all my tricks to get that much

I really like this one. Especially the green and the black.
Except for a few completely black spots, like the left upper corner, I don't think it's too underexposed at all. I feel it works very well with the trail of light guiding the eye through the scene.
A lower perspective might have captured a tad more of the drama in the sky.
Also some background interest could be nice.

I'm not really convinced B&W would enhance this shot. It might, but it was the color palette that really captivated me. Pretty much anything in the frame is either green, white or black. And of course the rust color, which stands out. Maybe that's why I wouldn't necesarily make this B&W. JMO

I too like the colour of this. It has a heavy feeling, like just before a storm breaks. I'm even okay with the sky. The upper left though is too dark, so perhaps either a dodge or a crop might help.
