Ooh-la-la! (sorry. not much of a critique, that's just the way I feel about the image)
Thanks, BF! I am quite happy with it. The river is exactly green like that with ice floating in it and the water is moving fast.
You feel 'French' about the image
I like this one JAS.
For the most part I like the soft touch but I'd prefer your main subject to have some sharpness in it somewhere. In this case I think I'd have more sharpness in the 1st and maybe the 2nd span of the bridge.
The bridge has a walkway suspended under it? Cool!
There's a bit of a blue cast across the center of the photo and in a few other spots that I'd be balancing out myself. Mainly where it's on the snow and ice ... I prefer snow and ice to be white usually. There are exceptions of course.
I can't decide if I like the fence and road and road in there or not. On one hand they give more interest but on the other hand I wonder how more clean the photo might be without them. If you shoot this again you might try a composition without them next time.
It really is a nice shot as it stands though.
Thanks, M.A. actually cars go on that little under bridge. I walked down a steep hill to get to the bike path area, lol. I have a couple I took from the other side and from the top of the hill as well. I will add them in here as well. As well as the processing, I think the evening low light has a tendency to make the snow go blue.
Lol, did you notice that damn Tower trying to get in on the act? Again
