This is a discussion on Reflecting Out In within the Critiques forums, part of the Photography & Fine art photography category; An architectural detail of an old church now converted to the home of the Calgary Opera. I had this idea ...
Nice shot! I like it. About the only thing I can add as critique is the window is cut off ... but not CUT OFF! You know what I mean ... it looks more like a mistake than a purposeful crop/composition.
It's kinda of trippy too ... at first I thought this window was protruding from the frame but after looking closer at the brick it suddenly looked as it is ... recessed in the framework.
Feel free to make comments on any of my shots

A painter takes their vision and makes it a reality. A photographer takes reality and makes it their vision.
A quick flickr re-edit:
Very interesting shot! I like what you've done here. The illusion was there for me too. Innie or outie... it is a little hard to tell.
Ha ha..I get that illusion too! too cool!

very good IMHO. Only, but it's a detail, that cut of the highest part of the circle....
