    Default Jasper Mountain

Spent the weekend in Jasper, and although I couldnt get my husband to stop too often and let me take pictures outside of the moving vehicle, I thought I did manage to capture a couple decent shots...

hmm, posting this in its smaller version seems to lose a lot of the detail, but oh well...

Well... when you get that 18-200 you can use the second generation VR to take pictures from the moving car...lol.. and now you have a new excuse to buy it.... your husband won't let you stop the car....

I am wishing there to be more clouds in this shot... the light warmth makes it look like mid day.... what time was it taken?

that shot was taken right around noon. pretty close to mid-day,
i wouldve liked some clouds too - but the warm weather came with clear blue skies, so i had to deal...

ive actually opted to stick with my little h5 till i get better with the basics. i did stop at a watsons foto shop today, and picked up a 1.7 tele-converter lens, and a polorizing filter. dug out the tripod and am hoping to get outdoors again this weekend.
i did end up at a future shop last week too, handling the cameras, and really liked the nikons feel. im sure i will go that way when im more prepared.
    would love that vr...

no shame in that.... you can take great pictures with most any modern camera.... the more expensive ones just make the pictures easier to take....
