Here is a picture I took in December of St Paul's Cathedral in London. It's an amazing place that I think looks good in B&W. Anyway any advice/comments would be appreciated.

I think I have to ask this right off the bat... why wasn't the bottom included? It just cuts off 2/3 of the door.
The BW is great for this subject. I am not to crazy about the composition.

I have to agree with Kat on the composition here ... perhaps you just ran out of room with the zoom you had?
If this was a purposeful crop then I'll add that I find if I am going to cut something off ... I CUT it off! Not cut it off ... if you know what I mean. Don't snipthings ... lop them the hell outta there This makes it look like you meant it and leaves no one wondering if it was a mistake.
I think having the building more to the left of the frame as we look at it and including more of that dramatic sky would have strengthened this image a lot.
I also like the black and white here and the exposure in the building itself is brilliant. Really nice!
Thanks for the comments. I wanted the picture to be as "clean" as possible, meaning I did not want any people and other distractions in the shot and that's why it was shot this way.

I think I would prefer a few people and the entire image over an oddly cropped image. Sometimes you can't help it that there are people in it. Perhaps try a reshoot at a different time of day when there will be less crowds if that is indeed an option. Just a thought. NB (whoops.....it has been pointed out that you are in the US and this was taken in London..I guess that's not an option...early morning and lack of coffee are to blame for the oversight ..but I still IMO feel it's a good rule of thumb if/when possible )
I do like the BW conversion it shows the detail in the building nicely.

Very nice B&W. It is a little late to suggest changes on a photo taken in London when you live in the U.S. but a few shots of just the architectural details would have been cool as well. If people are a distraction, as long as they are moving perpendicular to your camera you can make them disappear by using a slow shutter speed. That may not be possible if you are touring around without a tripod, but something to keep in mind just in case.
I liked kinda, but the lower crop... dunno theres something to it
