I went to London over the Christmas holidays and took a bunch of pictures. Here are two of the river area near the Tower Bridge. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I really can't think of anything to critique. I like them both very much.
I quite like the first one, it has a nice feeling of the river. the second seems to be tilted a bit to me as well.

A painter takes their vision and makes it a reality. A photographer takes reality and makes it their vision.
Thanks for the comments. The last one is tilted a bit, thanks for the help.

Dig shot 1!
The composition of shot 1 is considerably stronger than shot 2 imo. The B/w here is decent to my eye but i'd like to see some more contrast on the right side of the image. I might try to dodge some of the most extreme dark parts on the left side of the image.
Hope that helps - Marko

Great shots. A very good illustration of the the infrastructure across the pond.

Photography is more than just taking a picture and freezing the action, or leaving the shutter open. It is more than orchestrating the image with the stroke of a brush. Its the realization and explanation that reality is an isolated experience in which only a specific individual can comprehend during any given time period. - Your Truly!
Thanks guys, London is a great city. I only wish I had more time to shoot. Family duties took a bunch of my time.
