After hiking an hour along the trail I came to this spot. I believe that there are lots of photo ops here. I wanted to play with getting the silky water effect. I did not have a tripod and the bridge I was on was snowy. So I used my hand as a tripod (laid flat on the snow). this worked to a certain extent and I was playing wit the f-stop values to figure out what is the best. Then a dog began to bark on the property nearby. It was a doberman and I did not want my dogs to get into a scrap (D'Arcy would be okay but Belle can be a bit prickly). So I snapped a few more and then moved on.
this is the best of bunch (f20 and ISO 200). so when I go back what would the recommendations be? (I may schlep the tripod or look into getting a bean bag).
