Not every photographer is skilled enough... nor lucky enough to vividly capture a perfect moment in time. A moment portrayed in such a way that the final, unedited shot, surrenders itself to leave the viewer awestruck by it's very beauty.

In the rocky backdrop of Muskoka I present to you "the fawn".

Notice the aperture and shutter speed are masterfully co-ordinated to present the feeling of speed and urgency.

The frame is purposefully set with plenty of distraction to create a reverse psychology effect of focus and intent.

The body of the fawn is carefully and intentionally
nestled behind a tree. This leaves the viewer to use her/her own sense of imagination to interpret what the fawn actually looks like.

The cascading sun that blazes over hilltop discretely muzzled to convey the seriousness of this image.

A picture only a fool would negatively critique:

I am not sure whether to applaud your tongue in cheek humour or consider your self delusional rationalization to be a sign of serious mental illness.

That intro to the shot made me laugh quite hard!

    Thx

Well, I won't negatively critique it but nor will I positively critique it because I think your head is already quite big enough.

For any who may not know... this is a humorous attempt of the technical challenges of photography...

I have since renamed the work from "the fawn"

    to

"the challenge of taking nature pictures with a Boarder Collie running rampant"
