I like this shot. It's a basic landscape shot of the beach with the big sun flares going in a line across the image. I don't like these flares on portrait shots, but it looks quite neat on landscapes. Well done - as usual....
yeah i like it i think the flare evens out the properties of the composition however without your logo at the top it might make it uneven again
Well we all know I'm a bit weird at times, but I like it with the flare. To my eye it adds something to the photo. I think we've all been sorta trained to think flare is bad- a sign of a bad lens, inappropriate use of filters, or a photographers mistake. Yet when I watch TV I'm surprised at how often it appears that a director has gone out of their way to get flare in a scene. Especially in commercials.
To show how weird I am, here is a recent shot where I actually added flare where it didn't exist,
