    Wow great colouring Bambi...tat colour combination works in this image IMO.
    I don't think the orton is doing it for me however...but hey, that's just me.

    Wow ... I'm torn!!!

    Awesome colouring in this. The stark blues are working so very well with those yellows and reds!!! It's very impacting indeed!

    I also love the composition! The branch flowing across the bottom and then branching upwards to deliver our eyes among the autumn hues is just superb!

    I think the Orton effect is working well here also for me. I usually prefer a little more sharpness in a few places but in this case I can so easily over look it.

    For me, this is easily one your best photos I've seen Bambi!

    Great work Bambi. Not sure that Orton has really been put to maximum effect here, because like MA says it lacks some areas of sharpness, so it looks more like a gausian blur or similar has been applied. But its the result that matters and what a result!

    I'd love to see the original. (OK just seen it in other thread)

    thanks everyone. I am just using a GIMP plug in so not sure how to control all aspects. I did a few times until I got the look I liked.
