    Default Snowy night

While we're on the subject of snow lately, I thought I'd show mine. I just took it ducking outside of the door when it was snowing heavily one night. I was experiminting with the flash, and that's why the snow is sparkling. It probably isn't the best picture, but tell me what you think.

It's an interesting shot to my eye. If this were my shot...I'd consider a crop on the left side (just until the tree), I'd clone out the brightest snowflake (on the edge of the roof) and I'd boost the contrast a bit.

I like the leading line of the fence!

Here are the prescribed edits. I have a question about this picture too. Do a lot of people use a flash when it's snowing to create this type of photo?

This works bettrer for me - The fence-line has a bit of a downward slope which adds the 'movement' of a leading line that we now feel more with the crop. Still - I think maybe some other small edits might be helpful but i can't put my finger on it.

In terms of flash on snow....not sure what people do. Personally it wouldn't be my first choice - I'd rather try and capture snow under a streetlight.

    best!
