Hi Lovin, I'm no expert so I will only tell you that if you lowered the camera to the little boy's eye level, I think it would make this picture a little more interesting. I would like to see the little guy's expression as he is figuring out how to put this shoe on.
This is only my opinion and others are most welcome to differ.

I like that this "scene" is a bit different looking - nice play.. but I find the framing off. I think you should have pulled back a wee bit more to include more of the man's hand and shoes on the left.....and a wee bit more woman on the right.

The exposure here seems dark to me. The shot looks reddish on my computer.

I agree with zenon that some shots of just the baby from a lower angle would also look good.

Now I will tell you what I saw in this image.
The position of the parents, father standing and watch the kid, and mother being more closer to the child, trying to help him.
What I don't like also is that is not sharp, and the framing :(
But I uploaded here to see also other things that I missed.

Hmm... I didn't try it on a PC display. I noticed this problem many times. On my display is bright and clear, on a PC is different :(
I need a display that I can calibrate (Apple display).

I love the idea of this shot and I can see why you took it. what it needs to capture, IMO is that the parents are focussed on the boy (dad letting him do it on his own and mom hovering just in case) while the boy's focus is the shoe.

I think that if the angle was at the boys eye level it would work much better. I also agree about it needing to be sharper, although it might work if just the boy is sharp and the other faded (indicating his lack of attention).

Arghhhhh!!!!! NO!!! This is one case where not shooting from the child's eye level is exactly the right thing to do. The composition is perfect; Tall dad on the right, shorter mom (because she's kneeling) to the left, and back to the middle where junior is playing. This has got to be close to a textbook golden mean as far as the comp. goes. The only thing I like to see (in addition to the already mentioned focus and exposure) is it zoomed out a bit to capture all of Dad's right side and Mom's left/back.

I like the man and the fact that we just see his legs. I would've moved a bit further from the scene though, to capture the space. Or move closer to capture the emotion of the kid. Although this is not a bad composition, just feels like something is missing!

I agree though. I like the study on the family group where the boy is the focus of attention. It's too dark for me and, as has already been mentioned, the focus is off. Framing is a bit of an issue for me too as I don't like the other people in the scene being chopped in two. Would have liked all of mom and all of dad's legs to be in the scene.
