Default I'm a race car driver dad!

I am a portrait photographer in Visalia (California). Because of this I make sure that little great moments with my own kids do not slip by unrecorded. I have two camera bodies always at the ready for my kids. One always has a 24mm 2.8 and the other is the 50mm 1.4. With these two lenses I can quickly grab one or the other depending on what I am going for.

Kids are so quick but they will create photographic opportunity all on their own if patience is involved on your part.

Very nice portrait mindforge! This shot would also work very well as a square image, and would crop out the flare on the door which to my eye is a distraction. Hope that helps

What Marko said. Great capture. Love it. I think you could crop it so the face is full frame - virtually no background and it would be wonderful.

I agree with Iggy - a tight crop on the face is the way to go on this one.

Nice candid. Those glasses make me think there's a real cyclist in the family? Is that you MF?
